THE FOLLOWING GENERAL RULE SUPERSEDES ALL OTHERS LISTED BELOW AND MAY BE INVOKED AT ANY TIME:

Any action or behavior that causes significant interference with convention operations, excessive discomfort to other attendees, or adversely affects our relationship with our guests, venues or the public is strictly forbidden and may result in permanent suspension of attendee privileges.

The person in whose name a room is rented is solely responsible for the conduct of all individuals in the room as well as for the condition of the room.

Please keep your rooms clean. Excessive amounts of un-bagged trash must not be left for housekeeping staff to clean up (it’s just plain rude). Trash bags are provided. Use them.  Excessive trash, soiling or other damage to hotel property, or any circumstance that may present a hazard to hotel housekeeping staff may result in permanent loss of privileges. Housekeeping staff are required by corporate policy to inspect every room once per day, even if the room is not to be serviced.

Any actions in hotel rooms must not generate any noise that can be heard in neighboring rooms during nighttime hours. Individuals will be given a single warning to remain quiet. No second warnings will be given before action is taken by the hotel to remove the offending individuals. Being in the “noisy block” does not negate this rule and room occupants should do their best to keep noise at a reasonable level.

Guests are not permitted to congregate in the hotel corridors.

Do not affix anything to the walls of the hotel or Convention Center, to the elevators, to event signage, or to hotel room doors.

Requests for room amenities such as towels and pillows beyond the number that is reasonable and customary for a single room will not be honored. Kindly bring such extra items from home if they are expected to be needed.

The following general rule supersedes all others listed below and may be invoked at any time: Any action or behavior that causes significant interference with convention operations, excessive discomfort to other attendees, or adversely affects our relationship with our guests, venues or the public is strictly forbidden and may result in permanent suspension of attendee privileges. At Fur the More, the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers, and staff are our highest priority. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that all participants adhere to the following health and safety guidelines: Illness and Attendance If you are feeling unwell, experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness, or have been recently exposed to a confirmed case of a communicable disease, please stay home. If this results in missing the event, please reach out to registration@furthemore.org for assistance with your registration concerns Public Health Concerns Masking: Mask-wearing is not required at this time but is strongly recommended in all convention spaces. If you begin feeling ill during the event, we ask that you discontinue attending. However, if you choose to remain at the event while ill, for the protection of our volunteers and your fellow furries, we ask that you wear a mask at all times. Please note that wearing a mask should not be assumed as an indication of illness. Vaccination: COVID and Influenza-A are on the rise, and Flu-A is particularily nasty this year. Attendees are very strongly encouraged to be up-to-date on ALL vaccinations for communicable diseases such as COVID-19 and the flu. Policy Adjustments: Fur the More reserves the right to alter health and safety requirements for attendees and volunteers at any time as needed to protect our community. Changes may be made in response to emerging public health concerns and guidance from health authorities. Clothing Requirements All attendees must adhere to a minimum standard of clothing coverage while in public convention spaces. This policy is designed to ensure appropriateness, particularly in spaces where children may be present: Clothing must cover the groin, full rear, and breasts regardless of gender. Alternative dress codes may apply within 18+ designated events, but outside of those spaces, all attendees must follow general public decency standards. Footwear Requirement For safety reasons, fully soled footwear (shoes, sandals, or other protective footwear) must be worn at all times in public convention spaces. We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to create a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees. Thank you for being part of Fur the More!
