The following is our policy:
Alcohol
Most venues do not allow outside alcohol to be brought in. Attendees should be aware of the venues policies regarding this. Alcohol in the convention spaces must be purchased from the hotel. Outside alcohol will be required to be disposed of. Aggressive, belligerent or repeat issues will be asked to leave the convention. Attendees found to be overly intoxicated will be handled appropriate by our Rangers and First Aid departments. Your attendance badge may be retained by rangers, and a request to regain it can be submitted to the Rangers in the morning when the attendee is sober.
Please drink responsibly.
Minors and Alcohol
We do not tolerate the serving of alcohol to minors. Anyone found doing so will be reported to the authorities. Any minors found to be drinking whose intoxication does not appear to constitute a medical emergency, will have their parents contacted to pick up the minor. The minor’s badge will be revoked.
Drug Policy
The sale or other distribution of any illegal or controlled substances is not welcome at our events. Any individual found to be distributing such substances will be removed and reported directly to the local authorities. While marijuana products may or may not be legal in the area we’re in, the rules regarding smoking or vaping in the hotel still applies. Attendees should not smoke in the hotel, and please be considerate of others by not smoking near doors or vents.
